MEET MOLLIE — FOUNDER & STYLIST

Firstly, thank you for taking the time to read a little about me (and The Hair Hut)! I’m Mollie, the owner and founder of The Hair Hut - a private, sustainable hair lounge based in Essex.

I began my career at just sixteen as a Saturday girl, worked my way through my qualifications to Level 3, and, by twenty-nine, turned my lifelong dream of owning a salon into reality.

The Hair Hut is my pride and passion - a calm, one-to-one space where every client feels looked after, uplifted, and completely themselves. I’m known for creating natural, effortless, luxury hair - and for making each appointment feel like a treat, not a task.

Trust, honesty, and attention to detail are everything to me. Whether it’s a fresh colour, a big transformation, or a bridal morning, I want every guest to leave feeling the very best version of themselves.

    Founded by environmental experts, hairdressers and eco campaigners, The Green Salon Collective are the original authority on holistic sustainability throughout the UK and Ireland.

    As a member of The Green Salon Collective, at The Hair Hut I transform every single piece of “rubbish” into something useful. I recycle, compost and recover: hair, used foils, empty colour tubes, chemicals, PPE, plastic, paper and even salon towels.

  • The Hair Hut proudly stocks and uses Davines. Best selling products include Davines Lightweight OI All In One Milk, Davines NOUNOU Shampoo, Davines DEDE Hair Mist and Davines LOVE Curl Conditioner. Click here to learn more about Davines.

  • While Davines products are not certified vegetarian or vegan, the majority of our products contain no animal-derived ingredients, except the following: VOLU/Hair & MELU Hair Shield Mist because they contain keratin. Nourishing Royal Jelly Superactive, because it contains royal jelly.

  • The Hair Hut is based in Clacton-on-Sea. The business address will be sent to you at booking.
